Community Service

In addition to its academic opportunities, DCP offers a varied program of student activities.

Student Activities
Parents and teachers wish to see students enrich their lives through wholesome social activities. It is essential that parents and school personnel cooperate in their support of a set of basic principles as a guide for suitable behavior for the students. Parents should encourage their children to attend all functions of the school. They are an important part of our students' social development. Participation in school sponsored trips requires staff approval. Disciplinary problems exclude participation.

Community Service Program
DCP has established a Community Service requirement for its students. The School will create lists of community service opportunities, assist students in locating those opportunities best suited to their interests and abilities, and keep records of the students’ participation in those community service opportunities.
Students in the 9th through 12th grades must complete 10 hours of general community service per year.
